Following the hugely successful Battle of the Bands events held by several Sydney councils in April, winning acts from Sutherland Shire and Georges River were selected to perform at the Battle of the Bridges event at Sutherland Arts Theatre on Saturday 23rd September.

This all-ages event provided an evening of live music from local up-and-coming bands from Sutherland Shire (SSC) and Georges River (GRC). The line-up included Spinning Cupids (SSC), Jacinta Drumond (GRC), Vermanic (SSC), Pocketwatch (GRC), Sundryver (SSC) and Dolor (GRC). Sadly for the Shire, Georges River won the night based on audience cheers, but we’ll be back with a vengeance next year!

Ahead of the event, Shire Alt/Indie-Rock Band Sundryver were live in studio on Friday night to give Cale all the goss, plus they played a game of ‘Who Is More Likely To’, and premiered a new unreleased track!
