The traditional concert and fireworks at Cronulla is one of several large-scale events set to wow crowds and appeal to all ages and tastes this Australia Day.

ARIA Award winning indie pop act Sheppard will headline the concert in Cronulla Park, which in the past has attracted crowds of up to 35,000.

Sheppard will be joined by Samantha Jade, Caravãna Sun and Jess & Matt. 

At Woronora, a Sunset Cultural Ceremony will be held at Burnum Burnum Sanctuary while at Kirrawee, Cinema Under The Stars will be held at Buddy Giles Park.

Sutherland Shire Mayor – Cr Carmelo Pesce said the range of events, catering for different perspectives of the meaning of Australia Day, provided the opportunity to embrace the theme of “Reflect, Respect, Celebrate”.
