Cale represented 2SSR at the 2023 Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) conference in Adelaide in November, after winning a Scholarship from the CBAA. The conference provided an opportunity to expand horizons, refine skills, and connect with dedicated professionals from other community stations.
Industry experts and guest speakers held insightful workshops and sessions aimed at strengthening every aspect of local broadcasting. Topics included Collaboration in Community Radio; Amplifying Local News; Connecting With Your Local Music Scene; AI and Community Radio; What Content Do Young People Want; Making Engaging Current Affairs; The Future of Technologists, and more!
The conference closed with the 2023 CBAA Awards on Saturday night.
