Exciting news.

We can now reveal that 2SSr FM presenters are putting on their hats, sunscreen and shirts and are headed to Ausfest 2017, to be part of the free two-day festival.

Station reporting crew headed by Bumper2Bumpers Brett James will be doing live crosses for 2SSR and listeners will hear live updates between 4.30-6.30pm on Friday 27th January.

Held across three sites and featuring a huge line up of entertainment, Ausfest 2017 is a celebration of the 20 year anniversary of Council’s much loved Australia Day event.
With a stellar line-up of:
  • local and international performances
  • art installations
  • fireworks
  • giant games
  • a petting zoo and circus
  • a variety of food stalls
  • face-painting
  • Silent Disco
  • the 2016 Premiers Cronulla Sharks and
  • 2SSR Fm doing live crosses
