On the back of the NSW Cup Premiership victory the Sharks have had double cause for celebration in being awarded the 2013 New South Wales Rugby League Club Championship.

Better known as the Flowers Memorial Pennant, the Club Championship is contested over the three NSWRL Competitions, the under-16 Harold Matthews Cup, the under-18 SG Ball Cup and VB NSW Cup.

The club with the highest aggregate points at the conclusion of the competition rounds is declared the NSWRL Club Champions, with the Sharks taking the 2013 title with a points tally of 66.

While the NSW Cup Sharks were runaway minor premiers before going on to beat the Windsor Wolves in the Grand Final last Sunday, the Sharks Matthews Cup and SG Ball teams also enjoyed strong seasons, with both qualifying for the finals in their respective competitions.
