ERIC BIBB ON THE MYSTERY TRAIN
David Roman’s special guest on The Mystery Train this Tuesday 7th of February is American Blues legend Eric Bibb.
Eric Bibb has been a major artist and performer in the traditional folk, blues, and world music scene for over 50 years and has released over 40 albums.
He has garnered 2 Grammy nominations and multiple Blues Foundation Awards in his stellar career.
Originally from New York, now living in Sweden, Eric has toured extensively around the world and last visited Australia in 2019. He has delighted audiences world wide with his authentic, passionate and soulful take on blues both as a solo performer and with his band. He has just released a new album Ridin’ and is commencing a major Australian tour dubbed the Ridin’ Tour on February 1 which will feature intimate solo gigs ramping up to presenting gigs with his full band in March.
While grounded in the folk/blues tradition, he brings to his music contemporary and modern aspects relevant to world events and a performance style that is both entertaining and uplifting.
Eric Bibb is the real deal in the international blues music scene and it is David’s honour and privilege to have him on 2SSR.
