It is is with much sadness we inform our listeners that one of our beloved presenters Ted Mackness passed away peacefully on Sunday evening 14th December after a short illness surrounded by his family.
He was 87 yrs of age.
Ted presented the Friday morning program ‘The Magic of Music’. He will be sadly missed by all of us.
The funeral is 2pm Tuesday 23rd December at Woronora Crematorium to be followed by a function at the Cafe on site.A Funeral notice is in today’s and Thursday’s Leader.

My mate’s gone
So sad
I never got to say ‘Goodbye’
But I guess he knows I loved him
and will always remember and honour him
in my program.
