There are many incredible places in the Sutherland Shire and Shire Tourism is giving you the chance to share them with the world through the ‘Show the Shire’ online photo competition.
The Royal National Park was recently listed by the Australian Traveller Magazine as one of the top 100 Incredible Travel Secrets in Australia. Shire Tourism thinks you’ll agree there are many more incredible places in the Shire and this is the perfect opportunity for you to show them to the world, with the chance to win great prizes for the most popular photo.
From spectacular coastline and pristine waterways to urban landscapes and unique architecture, grab your camera or phone and upload your own secret (and not so secret) places on offer to visitors and locals –– the choice of what to highlight is yours and the possibilities are endless!
To enter and for more information, head to www.visittheshire.com.au/showtheshire. You can upload a photo via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Entries are open from 9am on 25 June 2013 until 10pm 25 July 2013. No late entries will be accepted.
Uploaded photos will be voted on by the Visit the Shire Facebook community, with voting opening on 26 July 2013 and closing on 25 August 2013. Based on voting numbers, first prize is a $500 EFTPOS gift card, second prize a $250 EFTPOS gift card and third prize a $150 EFTPOS gift card.
